I'm feeling restless
So disconnected
So many sleepless nights
wouldn't recommend it
I'm apprehensive
Don't know where my head is
You wear your heart on your sleeve
I wear my nerves on a necklacePC
Feel like I've been holding my breath
I'm anxious and I'm out of my depthChorus
so I wrap myself around in the arms of my own sweater
find myself in doubt thinking how can I do better
the voices in my head are getting louder than my friends
It's harder and harder to play pretend
while i'm stuck in the deep endV2
It's hard to follow
If you go where I go
You can't drown in a puddle
You can't feel my struggleBridge
I feel the weight fall on my shoulders
I guess this is getting older
Does it get easier
Or do we get used it? -

9am met catastrophe in my plans
Lost my phone to gravity my routine brokePC
left my keys, missed a right street, stopped at green before it turned yellow
all mistakes, that i made, lead to me & you at hello, ohChorus
What's the odds on a different day
Or if I ran one minute late
A stranger I thought I would never know
now there's no day that I never won't
We were meant to meet on accidentV2
crossed my path
now constantly
cross my head
always timing through a clock, but it's always better when it's not cause
in the endBridge
Every day I wanna know how it goes
But oh every day it's not how I thought it'd go -

V1
I knew I liked you from a first glance
Wanted all my plans to revolve around you
Something about us had a real chance
But I can't help that my heart isn't brand newPC
You pull me in i push away
I let my head get in my way
Tell you that you won't want to stay
Just Run away run awayChorus
I thought that i was clear
But you saw right through
Tell you i don't want you here
But you know i do
I told myself that i was doing the right thing
But you already knew
I was thunder to lightning
Clear
You saw right throughV2
Only you could out call me out like that
Rifle through my bag for another excuse
Feels like I'd fall apart and you would bounce back
then you remind me that your heart breaks tooBridge
You push me in I pull away -

Lyrics
I've been standing here looking in the mirror
Tryna find a way to see me clearer
I was wondering if you would ever let me down
Sometimes I feel like I'm walking on a wire
Instability couldn't be higher
Why are we so scared of looking down down downOooh oooh I'm falling
When I should be holding on
Tryna reconfigure what I'm seeing in the mirror
I'm holding on for you
It's hard to tell yourself but it will be alright
So keep holding on for youHow do you know you're not talking to a liar
Your graphic t shirt
Says all I can't articulate
Words that speak my mind
I compliment you
Crossing my fingers
You would see
That yours look good in mineAnd the silent static
My head goes tragic
it'll end in seconds
Like all of those 90s movie scenes
Cos When I get romantic
Feelings always fade like
sunless sunflower
By the sinkYou wear me out like fabric
Replace my favourite jacket
That I've worn every day
And I love how it feels the same
like satin wear me out like fabricFeels like I'm spinning
Its like I'm weaving in and out
The patterns of our day
Unraveled thoughts
You sew me up so I don't lose
What I want to stayYou wear me out like fabric
Replace my favourite jacket -

When all the words you shot have been misfired
I'm running low on ammunition I refuse to go down down down
Sometimes I feel like I'm pulled by a river
Wishing that I was a better swimmer
But adrenaline is kicking through my body I won't let me drown -
