Feeling Around In The Dark
I’ve been scared to let the light in
Oh I’ve tried just to ignore it
Feeling around in the dark
I don’t know what I’ll discover
If I come out from the covers
Feeling around in the dark
Can we follow the shadows
search through places we don’t know
Will it make us or break us
Can we find what we’re looking for
Take what we’re given
Hope it turns into something good
Trust in what we’ve hidden
Dust it off, never thought I’d get this far
Feeling around in the dark
No monsters hide under my bed
But every night i find them in my head
Feeling around in the dark
We get terrified by what’s inside
We’re shutting all the light out
There’s only one thing left to do now
Take what we’re given
Hope it turns into something good
Trust in what we’ve hidden
Dust it off, never thought I’d get this far
Feeling around in the dark
Can we follow the shadows
will it make us, or break us
Can we follow the shadows
will it make us, or break us
Take what we’re given
Hope it turns into something good
Trust in what we’ve hidden
Take what we’re given
Hope it turns into something good
Trust in what we’ve hidden
Dust it off, never thought I’d get this far
