Kate Carlson and Michael McEachern have been longtime friends, but it wasn't until recently that they began writing together and quickly realized they had something special. Michael, originally from California, moved to Nashville to pursue a solo artist career, where he met Kate, originally from Nashville. Together they combine Kate's intense passion and Michael's smooth soulful pop, to create a sound that is reminiscent of the Civil Wars. You can't help but get caught up and be moved by their sound.

Lyrics
The truth is I don't know what the truth is
What I want isn't in my sight
The worst is I don't know what the best is
Loving you was never black and white(Ooo) taking our chances
Will you fight for me will you fight for us
(Ooo) taking our chances
Will you fight for me or will you give upStay, baby, stay
We can make it through you'll see
When the sparks fade and it's you and me
Stay, baby, stay
We can make it through you'll see
When the colors gone
Love remains in-betweenHolding on to something I can't feel
Walking blindly into your light
But you don't reach for me
And as I dream I seeLoving you was never black and white
