Description
An eerie, ethereal song about going insane. There's a creepy vibe throughout, all about the way anxiety manifests itself and how we are what makes us seem insane. She might want to escape but this song is all about what the wasteland of her mind feels like. BPM - 77

Secrets, secrets in the shadows
Light hung in my window but I know
Nobody's home
Voices screaming in the background
I look but no ones around I black out
Forget who I amI keep crying out for help
I've been talking to myself
I can feel it slip away
It's driving me insaneI think I'm going mad
There's a war inside my head
My mind is a wasteland I'm trying to make sense
No I just can't take it no more
I think I'm going madShaking shivers in the red sun
Everything I run from has caught up to meI keep crying out for help
I still shudder at the sound
It's a voice I can't escape
It's driving me insaneCHORUS

All it took was a little bit of lightning
Breaking through the dark to pull me out of hiding
Waking up a little later than I wanted
Shaking of the dust, the dirt, and the cobwebsI used to love myself for my body
I used to speak my mind not be sorry
And now the thought you don't want me doesn't really matter much
Cause everywhere I look without you
Now there's more to me than just youThis must be moving forward
Feels like it's been so long
Don't ask me where I'm going
I don't know yet
but I'm already goneLooking out giving into every moment
Where I've been before ain't like anywhere I'm goingLearning to love myself for my body
Learning to speak my mind not be sorry -

VERSE:
You make me feel like forever does
Nothing to hold on to
This must be real, but that's not enough
You're just too much to losePRE:
So Ill keep you
Keep you
Keep you at arms length
Cuz I need you
So I need to
keep you at arms lengthVERSE:
I can't explain why I need to run
When you're moving too close
I crave the rain when I'm in the sun
But Its what I need the mostPRE:
So Ill keep you
Keep you
Keep you at arms length
Cuz I need you
So I need to
keep you at arms lengthBRIDGE:
My walls are up
But you're my skylight
I feel your touch
And closing my eyes
I try to trust
But feelings Flatline every timePRE:
So Ill keep you
Keep you
Keep you at arms length
Cuz I need you
So I need to
keep you at arms length -
