Hung on a Knotted rope
slide down a slipp'ry slope
glide the whole way down
let go and hit the ground
We did our best
Day and night with little rest
is there a place you know
away from here... c'mon let's go
CHORUS
Pick a place to play for a little while
Give candy to my inner child
Pick a Place to Play for a little while..
barefoot... running
where is the noise of
laughter and toys
joy with no despair
come on come on we're half way there
what we left behind
i'd trade for an airy mind
We can find our muse
Go ahead... I'll let you choose
Pick a Place...I like to dig my feet in the dirt
breathe in deep, smell the earth
we can put our hands in the air
hang it up leave our troubles there
I will take you go down to the sea
let the sun the salt and the water heal
giving in to this strange desire
let the tide rush in it feels so wild -

Opened book
Turned to last page
You read the ending first
The hero seemed so brave
Story twisted
Characters crosseyed
Tricky allusions
Hero lost the prizeGot stuck on the first page
Cut cut cut me out
Epilogue confusion
I feel dismembered and rearranged
phrases and dialogue
I just don't rememberDon't write the story before I die
in your old book with the crooked spine
My pages will weather more than time
Don't write the ending while I'm still aliveTIME, IS NOT A STRAIGHT LINE
IT SLIPS LEFT AND RIGHT AND
THIS TIME THIS IS MINE TO DECIDEDid you ever stop
To wonder why
All of the stars above do not form a straight line?
Flickering light makes them seem divine
I have a fantasy one day they'll all....Be mine.All be mine....
TIME, IS NOT A STRAIGHT LINE
IT SLIPS LEFT AND RIGHT AND
THIS TIME THIS IS MINE TO DECIDE -

When your weight is bearing down
My old fears are all around
When i look up at your face
I feel a little bit out of place
I know you want to take it there
Tomorrow you won't even care
I'm gonna let you crush me, feel the rush
I'm gonna let you crush me, feel the rushAll you've come to do is take
I'll give in for pleasure's sake
Can you give me something real
Just a little hope to make me feel
I know I'm gonna take it there
Tomorrow I won't even care
I'm gonna let you crush me, feel the rush
I'm gonna let you crush me, feel the rush
I'm gonna let you crush me, feel the rush
crush me … feel the rush … crush me … feel the rush
I wanna take it to a better place
And rise above all of this dull disgrace
Right now I guess that's how it's gotta be
One more night we're not lonely
I'm gonna let you crush me, feel the rush
I'm gonna let you crush me, feel the rush
crush me … feel the rush … crush me … feel the rush -

Lyrics
Why would I cling to my own cage
Never to be free
From the folly of a tyrant's reign
It makes no sense to meSilent Kings... tempting me
And the jester I used to be
Screaming softly... they barely make a sound
I am the queen of recoveryWhen the echoes of the drums are gone
And the silence draws me near
I'll be searching for the mournful song
That seemed so loud and clearSilent Kings... tempting me
And the jester I used to be
Screaming softly... they barely make a sound
And the queen of recovery
Dodging rocks in a violent sea
Sailing slowly...between the lost and found, between the lost and found, between the lost and found
Why would I cling to my own cage
Never to be free
From the folly of a tyrant's reign
It makes no sense to meAll hail the queen
Between the lost and the found. Find solid ground
Between the lost and the found... Find solid ground... -

Lyrics
We must begin again
Wake up stand up and cleanse
Oh la la I take your hand
Please don't misunderstand
When we started rhyming words
we were misrepresenting worlds.
Oh la la lets make it whole
Oh my my Begin againI see you sailing a dark sea I see you looking back at me
All I ever wanted was to feel electricity
but your ocean is full of sharks your waves missed their mark
Now There's Nothing left not a single spark....Theres really not much time
I've Got to got to find Oh la la
An in between these strange dreams
Every time I look down
I see see the ground
breaking up underneath oh la la
my feetI see you sailing a dark sea I see you looking back at me
All I ever wanted was to feel electricity
but your ocean is full of sharks your waves missed their mark
Now There's Nothing left not a single spark....
OH! ON! Turn it on. You've got to turn it on.
Feel my pulse, feel my pulse beat strong.
Oh! I'm on! You can turn it on!
Feel the pulse, feel the pulse it's strong! We must begin again
Wake up wake up and cleanse
Feel my hand take your hand
Please don't misunderstand
Follow me into the fire
feel the burn get high
on the transformation undergone
fan the flames keep it strong -

You go to the same bar Order your drink
Talk about the same shit get up to leave
All you do is complain things aren't going your way
I've been watching you for a while and I have something to say
All your friends seem to pass you by
You sit and wonder why....You're stuck on repeat (repeat repeat repeat)
STUCK ON REPEAT
STUCK ON REPEATShop at the same stores Even your clothes are bored
Runnin down the same road you've got to relax relax relax unwind
All your friends seem to pass you by
You sit and wonder why....
You're stuck on repeat. Why don't you move to the beat let your mind retreat.
You're stuck on repeat. Move to the beat baby feel the heat.Move to the beat
Move to the beatIf you over analyze
You'll end up paralyzed
And to your dismay nothing will ever change
So when you can't decide move move move your feet
but oh baby please don't getYou're stuck on repeat. Why don't you move to the beat let your mind retreat.
You're stuck on repeat. Move to the beat baby feel the heat.
You're stuck on repeat. Why don't you move to the beat let your mind retreat.
You're stuck on repeat. Move to the beat baby feel the heat.
Move to the beat baby feel the heat you gotta move to the beat baby feel the heat. -

Metal arms
Reach for you
Retractable senses
Gone too soon
You're an idea
I'm not ready to learn
I like the smell of fire
too far away to burn
You are in my veins and
Feels like treason
when I talk I lie
For no good reason
Cells divide and conquer
Acting on their own agenda
I wanna Let the arrow pierce my chest
I wanna feel the blood crest like wine
Over my body that's how I'll know I'm still alive
Translation becomes physical
Yearning for contact we twist and bend
this armor is destroying our senses
what we trade for protection we lose in the end.
I wanna Let the arrow pierce my chest
I wanna feel the blood crest like wine
Over my body that's how I'll know I'm still alive
I'm gonna let it flow (repeat) -

paper sharp as glass
red fingers running fast
wait until the scars are gone
scratch out another one
everytime I get the urge
demons watch an angel purge
place a hand on my mouth
eat the silence as i shout
You cut right to the bone, cut right to the bone, cut right to the bone
Taste of a paper cut
we never bleed enough
satisfy your tongue
your skin is just a drug
It doesn't take a razor blade
cut away the masquerade
solitary crystal eyes
method of a good disguise
feel the fire in my hips
taste of sugar on your lips
bitter never was so sweet
the coldest sweat of lovers heat
You cut right to the bone, it cuts right to the bone
Taste of a paper cut
we never bleed enough
satisfy your tongue
Your skin is just a drug
i don't wait until the scars are gone i scratch out another one
i can never fight the urge to watch it bleed i never learn
my skin must be too tough it never bleeds enough..... -

Lyrics
I feel like a bird
With a broken wing
But I still have lungs
I can sing
You are the black dove
You were sent from above
I touch your feathers of truth
You're my light you're my proof
Ooooh ooooh ooooh ooooh (2)
I can see I can see only you
Take this wing and make it new
You are you are you are the one
That keeps me keeps me keeps me spun
We are a snake
With a silver tongue
Revolving around the sun
we stay young we stay young
Ooooh ooooh ooooh ooooh
I can see I can see only you
Take this wing and make it new
You are you are you are the one
That keeps me keeps me keeps me spun
You are you are you are the one
That keeps me keeps me keeps me spun
I had a dream where we were never asleep and we were never awake and we had nothing at stake
you were a blinking glass eye in a distorted face and your beating wing took us out of that place ...
I I I I was the water
I I I I took no orders
Time time will not not destroy us
Time Time time time had no borders -

Lyrics
I found a blade
With a handle made of wood
Thatʼs when the vision came I saw a face with no name
I saw a young girl
Walking around with knife Hiding her face
Holding her hand
She was a wife
...then the memories Like a thousand bees Found her, stung her Brought her to her knees
She was coming out of the darkness Into her own light
She will learn forgiveness
If she has to cut it out with a knife Cut it out she cut it out
In the field in the field
You can feel you can feel
All the sounds swarm around
They rise from the ground from the ground
You will hear her sing sing singing You will hear her sing sing singing You will hear her sing sing singing You will hear her sing sing singing
She was coming out of the darkness Into her own light
She will learn forgiveness
If she has to cut it out with a knife Cut it out she cut it out
